Name of the Post and Qualification:
Agniveer General Duty:
- 10th pass (with 33% marks in each subject)
Agniveer Technical:
10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
OR
10+2 / Intermediate exam pass from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above.
Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical):
- 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
- Securing 50% in English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
Agniveer Tradesman:
- 8th pass with at least 33% marks in each subject.
Age:
- Minimum age: 17.5 years
- Maximum age: 21 years
- Born between 01 Oct 2002 to 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive)
Application Fee:
- UR / OBC / EWS: Rs. 250/-
- SC / ST: Rs. 250/-

PHYSICAL -
RACE: 1600 METER (1.6 KM)
TIME:
- 60 marks for completing the race in 05 minutes 30 seconds or less.
- 45 marks for completing the race in 05 minutes 31 seconds to 05 minutes 45 seconds.
INDIAN ARMY SELECTION PROCESS -
- Written examination
- Physical fitness test and measurement test (PET and PMT)
- Trade test (if required for any post)
- Document verification
- Medical examination
